Activity One - Bubble Painting

Description: This activity requires children to use there fine motor skills to create bubble art. As you blow into the wand on top of the paper, the bubbles will pop and leave patterns.

Materials:

  1.  Bubble Mixture

  2. Food Colouring

  3. Wands,

  4. Cups to dip wands in

  5. Large sheets of paper

Inquiry: observing and identifying before/after results. This helps children think cognitively about what would happen to the bubbles, what shapes and colours do you see (etc.).

Objectives/Outcomes: Children will have a better sense of other colours other than our primary colours. Being able to identify different shapes, along with there size.

Language: "wow, look at all the colours!", "I love bubbles!"

Reflection: Overall the activity went great, the children interacted with each other and with myself. It would have worked better with more materials such as straws, toilet paper rolls
